The Steps To Becoming A Massage Therapist Print E-mail

Massage is fun and easy to learn, all you need is your hands.  You learn a lot about the body and how to shift pain so that you can assist your friends and family be more free of stress and tension.  AND best of all you get to give a massage and you receive a massage, now how good is that?  And you can earn money for doing something you enjoy.  You get to meet people and the College is always looking for models to assist in our classes, so you get free massages regularly.

Steps to being a Massage Therapist or a Remedial Massage Therapist:

 1.  2 Day Introductory Swedish Massage for those who are not sure about a career in Massage Therapy.

2.  2 full weekend plus an evening or 5 x3 hour per Week and a Full Week-end for those who want more.

3.  Study individual units that lead to Certificate IV and Diploma - See section on individual units

4. Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice (full or part time)

5. Diploma in Remedial Massage
